Meme: 5 Words
Works like this: Reply to this meme by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your IJ and explain what they mean to you.

[info]angela_snape Gave me: Snarry, Writing, Slytherin, Icons, and Massage Therapy (which is technically TWO words, but I'll let it slide ^_^)

  • Snarry
This is my OTP of Harry Potter. It was the first pairing I ever read, and it continues to be my fave. I've now have a few fics, drabbles and art that is I think exclusively this pairing. Going with my love of this pairing I am the Head Technical Monkey of Walking The Plank, which is a site that I love *cough* and sometimes hate when it's broken*cough* The Snarry Fandom is probably one of the best that I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Also the Snarry meet ups are world, er con renowned. I got to help setting up and running the one at Prophecy which was a wonderful experience. I love Snarry because it often goes towards angst which is my usual fanfare, as well I can read Evil!Snape and Good!Snape and love them both. The pairing is versatile. Yay Snarry

  • Writing
I've always been a writer, I started with short stories, then poetry, and then I moved to fanfiction. I really enjoy fanfiction because you don't have to spend lots of time describing characters, places, concepts and you can focus on the plot (or lack there of ^_^)I usually prefer to write darker stuff, though looking at most of the major fics I've written they have been mostly normal with a touch of angst. My writing type is that of a procrastinator, I never write more then a quick general jot note of the plot. I find if I write a more detailed outline then I feel as if the story had already been written and I can't produce anything. I've always had a dream of being a published author, I still hope it will come true someday.

  • Slytherin
I like to think if I went to Hogwarts I would be a Slytherin. I have the banner in my living room and I crocheted a Slytherin scarf. Most of my fave characters from the books are Slytherins. Also my college was too cool and our school colours were Green and Silver, it was a sign. Being a huge nerd that I am I brought my Slytherin scarf and a wand to my commencement ceremony. I mean a large black robe and a green and silver stole? How could I NOT nerd it up. Click Here for a Picture!

  • Icons
I like to make icons, 12 of my icons are made by others or are just images, the rest I made. My default icon is my Mouse!Harry which was a pet mouse of mine who had black scruffy hair and a white mark on his forehead. Lots of others stem from mangas that I own.

  • Massage Therapy
Well I'm a Registered Massage Therapist, so that answers that one. Thats where I got the inspiration for my 2008 [info]snarry_games fic (Harry as a Massage Therapist, and Snape as his client.) I went to school for 3 years, and then had to pass 2 provincial exams in order to be registered, and I graduated with honours which I'm very proud of (though to be honest I wasn't actually trying to get honours, it just sort of happened *shrugs*) Massage Therapists can treat some complex conditions and muscular and joint issues. We don't just do relaxation, so find your local massage therapist (make sure to check if they are registered, licensed in the States) and set up an appointment. /pimping
