Team Cauldron Recs!
So I guess I'll do a rec list of art/fic from the snarry_games These are my Team Cauldron recs, there has been an outstanding number of wonderful entries this year and it is had to pick a few (so I picked a tad more then a few) There might be some mild spoilers for the fics.

Well here are some of my recs from the snarry_games from Team Cauldron's collection:

Art Recs

"Eat" By Hibiscus - this is an amazing piece of art. The use of light and shadow really sets the tone for the image. Both of their expressions are wonderful, Snape looking slightly sinister and Harry looking defiant and resigned at the same time. Snape's nails and the bright red of the pomegrant juice is outstanding.

"Devil by the Deed" By Ships_Harry - based off a comic book, ships_harry really captures the style of the source material. The story behind the group of images is conveyed with great artistic skill. The use of red, black, and white as the sole colours in the piece is really amazing.

"Pirate Booty" By Swtalmnd - Well I'm happy to have some smut in the Games. swtalmnd has does amazing things with her knowledge of anatomy and put Harry in a most unusual (and yet amazingly HOT) postition. Snape's coat is made of win, and I also love the lantern.

"Fantastic Voyage" by Miyoung_Boz - OMG Steampunk Snarry! I love the soft tones on this. The attention to detail, and creating all those clockwork/steampunk devices shows how much research must have gone into this piece. Harry has steampunk glasses (goggles) and Snape has the most amazing lace cuffs.

"Epilogue" By Umbrus - this is how the epilogue should have happened! umbrus uses a unique colour pallet for the first 2 panels and then changes it up in the third panel. The art is very animated and you can almost see what's happening as if it's stills from a video. Also hospital gown!snape ftw!

Fic Recs

"Finding Peace" By Mimiheart - It's a really true look into the BDSM lifestyle without being overloaded with information. mimiheart touches upon some issues that I have not seen explored in fics to such a depth and sensitivity before. The story is very well contructed, educational and handled masterfully.

"Lust Potion Number Nine" By LesYeuxVerts - This story has great interaction between Harry and Snape. The snark is perfect and it delves a bit into the psyche of Snape's Slytherin side; what he would be willing to put up with to maintain a standard of living. There is an slight undertone of almost claustrophobia, where Harry appears to be the light in the doorway.

"Harry Potter and His Incredible, Dumb Luck!" By Eeyore9990 - this fics takes you on an adventure with Snape and Harry. eeyore9990 has spent lots of time researching her fic, and it shows. I could visualize the setting and the people as I read the story. The interaction between Snape and Harry is spot on. The ritual is sexy, funny, and so very in character.

"Submerged" by Stasia - A story that almost has a fairytale feel to it. stasia has created an AU that fits so well with the characters. The story takes from the legends of the selkies and tells it in the modern world. Also it has Snape as a surfer, so that is every reason to read it. =)

"Decoy" by Lilyseyes - A sexy and funny story that torments Harry, in a good way. I like the companionship between Snape and Harry, and how it unravels into hot sex =) I love Snape helping Harry with his transformation, and the ending left me wanting a sequel.



Possibly more recs later but I'm behind on my reading of about 6 Cauldron fics and almost all of the Snitch fics ^_^ Snitch art recs to come later as well.
