Update
So here's a quick and dirty update

Job: I have quit my job at the clinic and I'm setting up my own business. So far it looks that things will be lucritive. I'm feeling really happy about my decision to leave the clinic. The moment I gave in my notice I felt light and happy.

Love: Doesn't exist, and I think I'm happy about that

Fandom: I've been hacking away at my [info]snarry_games fic, and I'm really pleased on how it's turning out. I would say that I'm about 2/3 of the way through it. I have my beta lined up. I think this will be my longest fic yet. I'm proud of this fic as it's a piece that required me to research and learn more about something I'm passionate about. Now I just want to finish it, hand it into the mods and then sit back and bite my nails waiting for it to be posted.

How is everything going with all of you?

Good luck in your endeavors and I wish you nothing but success in your small business. :)

Fandom: Currently working through my drabble offers, and trying to finish my entry for 30 Days of Neville, which I post next week. It's Neville/Draco, which I haven't written before, and so far I like what I have. Saw HBP yesterday, and mostly liked it, especially if I remember that movie canon & book canon are two completely different entities.

Job: Summertime, baby, though only according to the calendar. (The weather here in the GTA has been pretty dismal.) This means not going to work, and getting to spend lots of time catching up on reading, writing, and of course, time with my daughter.

Yeah I liked HBP too, though I felt that they spent FAR too much time with the romance stuff *gag* and less about the plot and important stuff. *shrugs* but they still got lots of parts done right.

OMG I just wrote an amazing part of my fic. I almost made myself cry while writing it. Now I need to fix up the angsty mess and cheer myself (and my fic) up.

Yeah weather in the capital has been sucking too. I've been dying to go camping but there hasn't been 2 days in a row that it didn't rain.

Good luck with your new venture. I've had a couple of difficult decisions in my life where I felt the world lift off of my shoulders after I'd made them. It's a sure sign that you've done the right thing. The one I remember most was the decision to throw out a dissertation I'd worked on for several years. I felt worlds better knowing that I wasn't worrying about that one any more. And lo and behold, I've just turned in my new dissertation to my committee and should be finished very soon.

Other than that I'm getting ready to move and take a new job, so I'm pretty booked up. My writing and commenting is bound to be sporadic.
